As we close out 2025, I’m reflecting with deep gratitude on what has been an extraordinary year for our small but mighty team at Justice Climate Fund. It truly feels as though we have moved mountains. Our resilience, confidence, and heart have carried us forward—and every week, I see the unwavering commitment that drives us to expand equitable climate and clean energy solutions for communities that need them most.
This year, we strengthened and broadened our partnerships in powerful ways. Together with our national network of more than 400 community lenders, green banks, developers, and state and local partners, we are building the ecosystem needed to deliver meaningful, lasting change. Our partnership with Green Bank 50 (GB 50) is accelerating our technical assistance and capacity-building work—bringing the right toolkit, to the right partners, at the right time.
We also took bold steps to meet the moment. This fall at Climate Week in New York, we launched the Climate Opportunity & Resilience Fund, a new vehicle designed to catalyze climate action and investment where it’s needed most. Throughout the year, we hosted several convenings, including two meetings in partnership with Ceres that brought community lenders and investors together for candid conversations on scaling private investment into community climate and clean energy finance.
At the center of all our work is impact. In partnership with the Sorenson Impact Institute, we developed a robust impact measurement and management framework, which brings a structured, data-driven approach to defining goals, tracking meaningful impact metrics, and using evidence to guide decision making and demonstrate results. These tools are helping us sharpen our strategy, measure what matters, and ensure accountability to funders and the communities we serve.
As we look ahead to a breakthrough 2026, we do so with renewed purpose—and with immense appreciation for partners and supporters like you. Thank you for believing in this work and for standing with us as we continue to build a more just, resilient, and equitable climate future.
With gratitude,
Amir
